We have assigned the function "5-Enolpyruvylshikimate-3-phosphate synthase (EC 2.5.1.19) # AroF" to
the encoded protein. The protein occurs in 2 subsystems: "Chorismate Synthesis", and "Common
Pathway For Synthesis of Aromatic Compounds (DAHP synthase to chorismate)". The function of genes
having the same functional roles have been described in Arabidopsis thaliana (3481024) and Haemophilus influenzae (8335255). These are homologous proteins which implement the same function.
